Riverfest Organizers Seek Scarecrow Exhibit Applications

The exhibit will be held during the 32nd annual Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival, which will take place Sept. 24-25 in Canton.

CANTON, GA -- The organizers behind the 32nd annual Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival are now seeking applications for its Scarecrow Exhibition.

The exhibit is open to all ages, individuals, families, clubs, groups and businesses, and will be showcased during the annual festival set for Sept. 24-25.

Applications can be downloaded online. The deadline to submit applications is Sept. 9.

The 32nd annual Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival, presented by the Service League of Cherokee County, will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 at Boling Park in Canton.

Riverfest is a juried show, featuring original, creative, handmade work from artisans all over the region. Additionally, the event showcases extraordinary entertainment throughout the weekend, including live music and dancing, and a children's area where kids of all ages can participate in a number of rides and activities.
