CANTON, GA — The Rotary Club of Canton recently presented Hasty Elementary School Fine Arts Academy with a $5,000 donation.
The club gave the gift funded through the Rotary District Grant match program to Hasty Elementary as part of their ongoing partnership, which supports the Canton school through donations of time, talent and treasure.
The grant will be used by the school to supply its newly established Makerspace Lab, which provides students greater opportunities to explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) learning through hands-on activities.
