Schoen Expands Footprint In Canton, Adds 35 New Jobs
Schoen Insulation Services will celebrate its new 60,000-square-foot addition with a open house and ribbon cutting on Saturday, May 19.

CANTON, GA — A Canton-based company has added to its footprint in Cherokee County, a move it said will create dozens of new jobs in the process. Schoen Insulation Services, a national leader in low-cost manufacturing of non-metallic, machined, turned, and cut parts, announced this week that the company has added a 60,000-square-foot facility to its operations.
The new space will enable the company to serve the growing needs of its worldwide customers in the power generation, aerospace and military, oil and gas, medical, electrical OEM, and water markets, the company said.
Schoen will celebrate the expansion with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at the new location at 505 Brown Industrial Parkway in Canton. Employees and their families, customers and suppliers are invited to attend the event, which will include food trucks, drinks, and entertainment.

The new facility will primarily house equipment used to support the company’s work in the oil and gas industry, which has steadily increased over the past eight years. Schoen Insulation Services now provides about 15 percent of the composite frac plugs used to extract oil and natural gas in North America.
“We’re incredibly excited about what this expansion means for the future of our company and the local community,” said Schoen Insulation Services President and CEO Stephen Schoen. “Since 1989, we have consistently provided our customers here in the U.S. and abroad with low-cost, high-quality parts. Our new facility will allow us to keep up with increased demand in the markets we serve and give us the flexibility to continue to move into new and emerging industries.”
The new facility is located roughly five from Schoen Insulation Services’ existing 55,000 square-foot facility on Univeter Road.
