Sheriff's Office Investigating Shooting At Canton Car Wash
Cherokee sheriff's deputies discovered the windows were shot out at His Hands Car Wash & Detailing Saturday morning.

CANTON, GA -- Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office are investigating a shooting that damaged the windows of a car wash early Saturday morning in Canton. Deputies were dispatched around 8:29 a.m. Sept. 16 to His Hands Car Wash & Detailing at 11431 Bells Ferry Road.
They arrived to find the windows "had been shot out and damaged," said Cherokee Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Marianne Kelley. Those responsible for the shooting did not enter the business. The damage, Sgt. Kelley added, was discovered that morning by an employee who works at the Chevron gas station next door (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Investigators have spoken with the owner of the car wash, and they do not have a suspect or motive established at this time. Those detectives, did, however, obtain a copy of the video from Chevron, which they are reviewing for potential evidence or subjects.
