Question: What drew you to a career in midwifery?
Answer: During my first pregnancy, a woman named Ellen was my midwife. I started helping with obstetrical education and history for that office’s group. After my second pregnancy, Ellen suggested I go into the midwifery profession. I looked at her like, “You gotta be kidding me.”
