Following the hunt for candy and other treats, residents can head over to the gazebo at Cannon Park for the costume parade and contest, which will start at 11 a.m.

The contest is available for children up to 13 years old. A local face painter and animals from Banyard Friends Petting Zoo will also be on hand.

For the grownups looking to score some of their own goodies, the final session of the Canton Farmers Market will take place at the park beginning at 8 a.m. The market will close for the final time for the 2015 season at noon.

While you’re downtown, be sure to also check out and vote for your favorite scarecrows stationed throughout the downtown loop.

The winner of the contest will be announced Saturday morning. For more information about the event, call 770-704-1548.
