Truck Sought In Hit-And-Run Collision In Cherokee County

A 32-year-old man was hit Saturday afternoon on Evans Cook Road near Epperson Road.

CANTON, GA -- Georgia State Patrol troopers are asking the public to help them track down a pick-up truck they believe was involved in a serious hit-and-run crash Saturday afternoon.

Troopers responded to the call around 4:40 p.m. Nov. 12 on Evans Cook Road near Epperson Road, which is located to the south of Cumming Highway near Canton.

Witnesses informed the state agency they saw a full-sized red truck leaving the scene of the crash. The victim, a 32-year-old man from Canton, was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment, according to an accident report provided by the agency.

GSP states the damage to the truck would be located on the front passenger side as well as the passenger side mirror.
