Two Injured in Ball Ground Crash
The accident occurred Wednesday evening north of Canton.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating an accident that temporarily closed a Ball Ground intersection Wednesday evening.
Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to an accident around 5:15 p.m. Oct. 22 at the intersection at Howell Bridge Road and Ball Ground Highway east of Interstate 575.
Initial reports indicated a possible entrapment in the accident, Cherokee fire spokesperson Tim Cavender said.

However, emergency service crews arrived on the scene and discovered a collision between a Toyota Tundra and a Chevrolet Blazer. Neither of the two victims were entrapped in their respective vehicles, Cavender added.
The male driver of the Toyota truck suffered injuries to his chest and head while the male driver of the Blazer possibly had injuries to his femur, Cavender stated.

Both victims were transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta in serious condition.
Traffic in the area was re-routed until the vehicles were removed.
