VIDEO: Gov. Deal Visits Canton

The governor's daughter is performing in a play at the Canton Theatre this weekend.

Gov. Nathan Deal received a warm welcome from Canton and Cherokee County dignitaries on the occasion of his visit to the Canton Theatre on Feb. 7.

Deal was presented a gift basket containing products made in Georgia and Cherokee County by Canton's mayor Gene Hobgood.

Katie Deal Wright, the daughter of Deal and his wife, is performing in "Today, Tomorrow & Forever: A Tribute to Patsy Cline" at the Canton Theatre on Feb. 8-9 at 7:30 p.m.
