What's Open, Closed For Christmas in Canton, Holly Springs?
Here's what you need to know as the holidays arrive in Cherokee County.

CANTON, GA -- If you're expecting to get anything business done with your local governments before Christmas rolls around, then you're out of luck.
That's because the cities of Canton and Holly Springs as well as the Cherokee County government will all close up shop Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday season.
Cherokee County's offices will also be closed Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Canton residents expecting trash services on the aforementioned days will have their residential waste collected one day late.
Of course, the Cherokee County School District and Cherokee Charter Academy remain on their winter breaks and will do so through the first week of January. The Sequoyah Regional Library System will shutter its doors Dec. 23-26, and will reopen Dec. 27 for normal hours.

Reinhardt University and Chattahoochee Technical College's Canton and Woodstock campuses will remain closed through the first week of January.
The United States Postal Service will observe Christmas on Monday, Dec. 26 and return to normal operations on Dec. 27. The shuttle service operated by Cherokee Area Transportation System, or CATS, will not run Dec. 23, Dec. 26 and Tuesday, Dec. 27.
