Winners Announced In Cherokee Schools' Reading Bowl

The Reading Bowl, which recently was held at E.T. Booth Middle School, is a timed competition designed to encourage reading.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — Cherokee County Schools recently celebrated its students who won in its annual Reading Bowl.

The winners are for elementary school:

  • Indian Knoll Elementary School, first place
  • Clark Creek Elementary School STEM Academy, second
  • Little River Elementary School, third

  • Freedom Middle School, first place
  • E.T. Booth Middle School, second

For high school:

  • Creekview High School, first place
  • River Ridge High School, second

The Reading Bowl, which recently was held at E.T. Booth Middle School, is a timed competition designed to encourage reading. Open to students in grades 4-12, the competition features questions from books selected by a Cherokee Schools committee of educators.
