Shaw fled on foot to a nearby neighborhood. Deputies determined that the man who fled on foot was the suspect who had fired the weapon earlier. They began searching for Shaw, and he was located 15 minutes later hiding outside a residence on Don John Trail. The firearm that was fired at the gas station was located in the car at McDonald's.
