Cartersville Anheuser-Busch Facility Receives Safety Awards

They've gone four years without an injury and one year without a reported incident.

From Anheuser-Busch: Anheuser-Busch today was recognized for its outstanding safety performance record with a proclamation presented by Cartersville Mayor Matt Santini and Bartow County Commissioner Steve Taylor.

Anheuser-Busch’s Cartersville brewery employees were joined by local officials at three town-hall gatherings during the brewery’s three shifts throughout the day to recognize their achievement in reaching two major safety milestones:

  1. Experiencing four years of zero lost time due to injury; and
  2. Completing one year of work without an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recordable incident.

“Anheuser-Busch is proud to call Georgia home and since first opening our doors 24 years ago in Cartersville, we have had an unrelenting focus on safety and quality,” said Kevin Fahrenkrog, general manager of Anheuser-Busch’s Cartersville brewery. “Reaching these two major safety milestones and being recognized by our hometown officials is an honor, and we are excited to celebrate our employees who made these significant achievements possible.”
