Chick-fil-A Van Stolen From Parking Lot In Cartersville
The Cartersville Police Department is investigating the theft, which was reported last week.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The Cartersville Police Department is investigating the theft of a Chick-fil-A catering van from its parking lot at 115 Cherokee Place.
The van was stolen around 9:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, the store said, and anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of those responsible will receive Chick-fil-A for a year, according to the fast food joint's Facebook page.
Cartersville police say the van bears Georgia tag number RAQ437. According to an incident report released by the police department, the 2016 white Ford Transit Connect van wasn't reported stolen until Wednesday, Nov. 8 because "no one was sure if the van was not being utilized by an employee."

Security video shows a white male in his late teens or early 20's walking around the parking lot around the time of the theft. The male had long brown hair, and was wearing a long-sleeved camouflage style shirt with blue jeans.
"The video shows the suspect walking behind the closed business and then proceeding to where the van was parked," the report goes on to state. The van is seen on video leaving the parking lot towards E. Church Street.

The complainant told police there are two sets of keys for the van that are kept in the manager's office. However, at the time the report was taken, one set of keys is missing, and it is unclear who was the last person to drive the van.
A Bartow County sheriff's deputy informed Cartersville police that on Monday, Nov. 6 he heard from a resident that a Chick-fil-A van was seen behind a home on Lakeview Drive, but "did not think anything of it because the vehicle had not been reported stolen at that time."
