Heather McDonald Search: GBI Seeks Additional Information
The Cartersville wife and mother was last seen Sept. 18 at the Courtesy Inn hotel.
CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Agents and investigators with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation continue their search for the Cartersville mother who has been missing for more than two weeks.
Personnel with the state agency also continue to follow up on leads in the case and are asking the public to aid them in their investigation, said GBI spokesperson Nelly Miles.
McDonald was last seen Sept. 18 at the hotel located at 2335 U.S. 411 in Cartersville.

The GBI, whose assistance was requested Sept. 29 by the Cartersville Police Department, is urging anyone who may have seen McDonald after Sept. 18 to call the agency at 1-800-597-TIPS (8477).
A vehicle, a red Jeep Wrangler, was discovered around 9 a.m. Sept. 19 in the parking lot of the hotel.

McDonald's family states that the vehicle was unlocked, and the key was on the ground and McDonald's belongings were still inside.
McDonald is described as a white female who's 5'2'' tall, has brown hair and eyes and weighs around 100 pounds. She has no tattoos or piercings, and was last seen wearing gray and green exercise clothing.
