Bartow County Inmate Charged With Escape (UPDATED)
Hashley Jeana Williams was supposed to return to the Bartow County Jail on Oct. 5, but the sheriff's office said she remains at large.

UPDATE: Bartow County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said Williams was arrested Monday evening and is back at the Bartow County Jail.
CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Arrest warrants have been issued for a Bartow County jail inmate who has not returned from her court-ordered work release program.
The sheriff's office is looking for Hashley Jeana Williams, who was set to return to the jail at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 from her the court-mandated program. According to an incident report released by the sheriff's office, Williams, a Taylorsville resident, was granted an eight-hour grace period to return to the jail.

Bartow County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said deputies are following up or any leads that come in or develop on her possible whereabouts. Jail records show Williams was last booked into the facility in June on charges of felony failure to appear and misdemeanor criminal trespassing.
