1. 2026 Euharlee Covered Bridge Fall Festival Returns October 9–10 at Osborne Park (coosavalleynews.com) — Cartersville-area families can look forward to the Euharlee Covered Bridge Fall Festival on October 9–10 at Osborne Park, featuring free admission, parking, and kids' activities. With more than 75 vendors, live music, hayrides, pumpkin painting, a farmers market, and a new dog park open, it's an easy weekend outing just minutes from Cartersville. 
2. Georgia Attorney General Sues Cartersville Charity (wbhfradio.org) — A Cartersville-based charity is facing a state lawsuit alleging it misused millions in donations on personal expenses instead of promised charitable causes. Georgia's attorney general is seeking restitution for donors, civil penalties, and a court-appointed receiver to take control of the organization's assets while the case proceeds.

Athletes Beyond Bartow: Lawrence throws three TD passes in Jags win (bartowsportszone.com) — Cartersville and Bartow County sports fans can track a long list of former local standouts now excelling in college and professional programs nationwide, from Trevor Lawrence's three-touchdown NFL performance to strong showings in baseball, soccer, golf, and cross-country. Grovetown chief says child predator suspects came from three states (theaugustapress.com) — Cartersville Police Department helped a multi-agency undercover operation in Grovetown that led to six arrests of men accused of traveling to meet who they thought was a child. Investigators say more suspects are under review after thousands of online contacts, underscoring that online child exploitation attempts can reach communities far beyond the immediate CSRA area.
