Man Accused Of Attacking Girlfriend Charged With Meth Possession
Police made the discovery Tuesday morning when a passerby called 9-1-1 to report a man kicking and punching a woman.

ADAIRSVILLE, GA — Adairsville officers responding to a call of a domestic dispute charged the man accused of attacking his girlfriend with battery and possessing meth during the incident.
Officers were dispatched around 10:03 a.m. Tuesday to a call of an altercation between a man and woman in the 5100 block of Joe Frank Harris Parkway. Bartow County 9-1-1 dispatchers told police that a passerby called and said they observed "an unknown male throw a female onto the ground and started punching and kicking her," Adairsville police said in its press release.
Officers arrived and detained Dustin Anthony Moses, who was charged with simple battery for attacking his girlfriend. While patting down Moses, officers discovered suspected methamphetamine in his pants pocket, the Police Department added.

Moses, 26, was charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act, a misdemeanor, and felony possession of methamphetamine. Bartow County Jail records show Moses was booked into the facility on July 3 and remains held on a $5,000 bond.
