Robert Ledford Jr. (polktoday.com) — Cartersville is mourning the loss of 69-year-old Robert Edward Ledford Jr., a U.S. Army veteran, artist, and storyteller who spent most of his life in the community. He is remembered for his whimsical spirit and artwork displayed around town, and a graveside memorial with military honors is planned August 27 at Georgia National Cemetery.
