
The 2013 Atlanta Quilt Festival opens Sunday, July 28th at noon at South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA. The Festival will feature a juried exhibit of over 40 quilts, a special exhibit of Emancipation Quilts, and a special exhibit of Journal Quilts.
During the Opening Reception, enjoy quilt and dollmaking demonstrations, and shop at the Festival Quilt Market. The Opening Reception is from noon - 4 p.m.
Well known quilter Aisha Lumumba will lecture and show her quilts Saturday, August 3rd after leading a Master Quilt Class earlier in the day. The lecture is at South Fulton Arts Center, and the cost is $10 at the door.
