2014 Funders Roundtable:Fundraising Tips from the Funders

The


2014 Funders Roundtable is only one week away!Β The Roundtable is


sponsored by the Georgia Micro Enterprise Network (GMEN). Participants


will include Grant Reviewers, Philanthropic Experts and Foundation


Officers from Georgia Pacific, Financial Institutions,Β the City of


Atlanta, USDA and other Foundations and Sponsors. Our Panelists will


share information to help Micro Enterprise Organizations, Non-Profits


and Faith-Based Institutions submit better funding requests to help


build better communities. Registration is free but space is limited. Light refreshment will be served. Β 

The Roundtable will include:

  • How to posture your organization for fundraising success
  • The importance of your Board AND Stakeholders in fundraising
  • Forming impactful collaborations that attract funders
  • Important tools and tips for your fundraising success

  • Strategies for Accessing Sponsorships and In-Kind Donations

Over a ten year period, GMEN’s annual funding grew from $35,000 to almost $700,000 in funding. GMEN has provided over


$2.0M in grants to microenterprise development organizations statewide


to provide direct services to support over 1,500 new micro


entrepreneurs, small and agribusinesses in Georgia.
