The Sickle Cell
Foundation and the South Fulton Running Partners, Inc. will host the 34th
Annual Sickle Cell Road Race/Walk at Welcome All Park on Saturday April 12, 2014
at 8:00am. We kick-off each year with our Pre-Race Expo, featuring a sponsors
pavilion on Friday April 11th from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
This gives our
sponsor an opportunity to showcase your company and network directly with
event participants. Typically this attracts over 2,500 registrants.

The Sickle Cell Road Race/Walk was
founded in 1979 and is one of the oldest race events in metro-Atlanta. This year we are proud to announce our 7K run
is the RRCA Southern Regional 7K Championship and qualifier for the Peachtree
Road Race. This is an excellent challenge for all runners. Please know that the proceeds from this Road Race/Walk benefit the Sickle Cell Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) organization. The proceeds support Camp New Hope, a special
needs summer camp for children with sickle cell; the teen leadership retreat,
which assists teenagers with their transition from pediatric care; as well as
the critical health care services.
