Attorney Charles S. Johnson, III Is Featured Lawyer in Atlanta Tribune - The Magazine's April 2011 Edition

Attorney Charles S. Johnson, III, who is a Board Member of the Cascade-headquartered Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc., is featured in the Attorney's Corner column of Atlanta Tribune - The Magazine's April 2011 edition.   The feature of Attorney Johnson, who is profiled and interviewed in Q&A format by Atlanta Tribune - The Magazine's attorney-columnist Brian D. Attorney Johnson is an Equity Partner at the international law firm of Holland & Knight, LLP.  He is President of the Southern Regional Council, and Board Member of Techwood Park, Inc. and the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc.  He is a member of the American Bar Association (Member, Antitrust Section Committees on Insurance, Energy and Transportation); National Bar Association (former Vice President); State Bar of Georgia; Atlanta Bar Association (former Board Member); and Gate City Bar Association (former President).

Attorney Johnson previously served as Chairman of the following organizations:  the Atlanta Judicial Commission; the Georgia State Board of Bar Examiners;  the Atlanta Urban League;  the Atlanta Legal Aid Society;  the Atlanta Exchange;  the Atlanta Region Open Housing Coalition;  and Leadership Atlanta.  Charles is admitted to practice before all Georgia courts, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals (4th, 5th, and 11th Circuits).

A graduate of Bard College and Boston College Law School, where he was a member of Law Review, Attorney Johnson is a perennial GA Super Lawyer - and was named GA Super Lawyer again in 2011.  He has been inducted into the Gate City Hall of Fame.

Attorney Johnson was recognized as one of Ten Outstanding Young People in Atlanta in 1985 and was recipient of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace and Justice Award, presented by the King Center in 1985.  He was also a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives for the Fifth Congressional District of Georgia in 1986.  Attorney Poe, who is Managing Partner of the law firm Brian Poe & Associates, Attorneys, PC and the national legal recruiting firm Esquire Connect, LLC, stated that his feature of Attorney Johnson was his "most in depth attorney feature yet."
