Atlanta Tech Selects Fulton County Chairman John Eaves as 2013 Commencement Speaker

Atlanta Technical College has selected Fulton County Chairman John Eaves as it 2013 Commencement Speaker.

The ceremony will take place on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Atlanta Civic Center, 395 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30308. Atlanta Technical College anticipates having the largest crowd ever for their commencement, with full seating capacity of 4,500.

“Chairman Eaves’ accomplishments in education, servant leadership, and community development around the world will be especially motivational to our students and the college community”, stated Atlanta Technical College President Alvetta Peterman Thomas.

“I am honored to serve as Atlanta Technical College’s Commencement Speaker”, confirmed Chairman Eaves. “The college is an excellent example of how education can expand opportunities for students from beyond the classroom onto the world stage.”
