Parker, General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan Atlanta
Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), will serve as the keynote speaker for the 10th
Annual Atlanta Technical College Business Breakfast. The event will be held on Thursday, June 19 at
the Dennard Conference Center on Atlanta Technical College campus. The program begins at 7:30 AM. The breakfast is free for local business
owners but registration is required.
Parker oversees operations for MARTA which is the nation’s 9th largest transit system and includes heavy rail, bus and paratransit services. He is expected to discuss how the street car expansion will improve the economic outlook for Georgia businesses.
