Atlanta Workforce Career Fair Tuesday

Atlanta City Councilmember Cleta Winslow has announced that the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency will hold a job fair on Tuesday.

Atlanta City Councilmember Cleta Winslowhas announced a career fair on Tuesday hosted by the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency.

The job fair is from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at 818 Pollard Blvd.

Applicants are expected to complete one orientation seminar on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at the same location as the job fair.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Also, each participant should be able to pass a background search and drug screening.

Each participant is required to register in advance at www.Atlantaworkforce.org

Applicants should dress in interview appropriate clothing (e.g. No jeans, sneakers, gym attire or shorts).

Participants are requested to have resumes ready to present to employers.

Here are a few of the positions being offered by the employers:

Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager

Cashiers (Airport)

Cooks (Airport)

Accounts Executive

Energy Auditor (Green Recycling)

Telemarketers

Landscape Technicians

Additional qualifications will be communicated at the Job Fair.
