Calling All 3rd Graders for Math-Amazing Neighborhoods Multiplication Bee!

Announcing a Multiplication Bee for 3rd graders from Southwest and South Atlanta neighborhoods.

Announcing Math-Amazing Neighborhoods Multiplication Bee, which is the first of its kind in Atlanta, Georgia. Math-Amazing Neighborhoods is a local math program and competition where students represent their communities. The mission of the initiaitve is to generate an excitement for mathematics and to develop a sense of community pride. Math-Amazing Neighborhoods was designed to encourage a local effort to close the racial achievement gap in Atlanta.

 

The competition will be held on March 24, 2013 at 97 Peachtree Street SW Atlanta, Georgia 30303. The event will take place from 2:00pm-4:30pm. To register your third grader, please fill out our online form at http://www.math-amazingneighborhoods.com/Register-to-Compete.html. Multiplication Bee questions will cover 2's through 12's times tables.

1st place: $50 Toys R' Us Gift Card

2nd Place: $25 Toys R' Us Gift Card

3rd Place: $15 Toys R' Us Gift Card

Parents and community members from different South and Southwest neighborhoods are invited to attend and support their student representatives.
