Free Week-Long Workshop for High School Students May 28-31

Free workshop for help students plan their summers!

The Center for Education Culture, Inc. presents the workshop series,

"Lunch and Learn: Planning a Productive Summer for High School Students"

This 4 day workshop is designed to help students avoid the common mistake of wasting a summer and failing to grow academically, socially, and personally. Each day of the program focuses on a component of the ideal summer, and includes academics, service projects, college-readiness, creativity/well-roundedness, and leadership.

Select speakers will engage students and inspire them to work hard over the summer and set goals that will allow them to become more responsible, college ready and better prepared for the academic year--all while having fun.

Katrina Mitchell: Director of Education of United Way
Kristen Daniel: The Pentorship Program
Franko Chevalier Morehouse College Admissions
Sam Collier: No Losing, Inc
Jennifer Swain: Youth Spark

The program will take place May 28-31, 10:30am-1:30pm, with location to be revealed upon registration.

Requirements:

- Students must attend a Title 1 School

- Students must be in rising 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th graders

- Students must attend all 4 days
