Maria Elkins Will Lecture and Show Her Quilts August 4th at South Fulton Arts Center
Portrait Quilt Artist Maria Elkins will share her quilts August 4th at 3 p.m. at the South Fulton Arts Center as part of the 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival. Admission $10 at the door
Maria Elkins is the guest lecturer for the 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival. Maria is well known for her portrait quilts which have won national prizes.
Her lecture and trunk show will take place Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 3 p.m. at theSouth Fulton Arts Center. The South Fulton Arts Center is located at 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA. Admission is $10.00 at the door.
Earlier in the day from 9 – 3 p.m., Maria will conduct a master quilter’s workshop for 20 participants. She will teach her “Drawn and Painted Portrait” workshop. This class is full.
