Cascade United Methodist Church to distribute over 1,000 Thanksgiving Boxes to the Southwest Atlanta Community
Recipients will receive a week's worth of groceries and Thanksgiving Dinner this upcoming holiday

November 17, 2015 - (Atlanta, GA) β The Cascade United Methodist Church (CUMC) congregation in conjunction the renounced CUMC New Advent Choir with will continue their tradition of bridging the gap for individuals and families in the Southwest Atlanta community this Thanksgiving holiday.
The annual New Advent Choir Thanksgiving Basket distribution will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Cascade United Methodist Church, 3144 Cascade Road, Atlanta. More than 1,000 individuals and families who are less fortunate will receive all the fixings need for Thanksgiving dinner and more than $200 worth of groceries that will last them the entire week.
This is our largest outreach project of the year, says Pastor Lawrence Young, Senior Pastor,, βit is evident in our numbers that the need for community engagement and involvement continues to grow, this year we will serve over 1,000 families. These numbers speak to the urgent need beyond the walls of the church.β

The New Advent Choir will also host their annual Thanksgiving Concert on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. The entire community is invited to fellowship in song.
