City Continues Pushing Water/Sewer Tax Renewal

to build support for the up for renewal Tuesday's ballot.

The municipal option sales tax, or MOST, is used by the city to finance the federal Clean Water Atlanta project. First approved in July 2004 and renewed in 2008, the tax is designed to spread the program's $4 billiopn cost to visitors and travelers who use the infrastructure but don't pay city water and sewer bills.
