City of Riverdale Seafood & BBQ Fest Saturday, October 10 at Noon

The City of Riverdale’s Seafood and Music Fest traditionally held on Labor Day Weekend is now held on October 10 and its new name and theme is the Seafood and BBQ Festival. The revamped fest will feature its usual vendors, live music, merchandise, kids zone, food stations and added BBQ sauce contest and the Seafood vs. Barbecue battle.

A blogger tasting was held on Thursday, October 8 with Celebrity Chef Sammy Davis, Jr. (T.I.’s Scales 925 and Winner of Food Network’s “Chopped” Season 10) serving up delicious jumbo shrimp and BBQ Chef Erric Bell of I Don’t Need No Holiday To Barbeque catering company dishing his tender bbq shortribs with rub rather than sauce, chicken wings , thighs and Louisiana sausage with baked beans.

The fest location is The Rierdale Town Center, 7200 Church Street,Riverdale, GA 30274. Doors open at noon and it all ends at 7 p.m. The

cost is Kids 12 & Under - FREE! Adults 13 & Up - $5.00 Kidz Zone - $5.00

There will be performances with the highligh being Rappers Delight and the Sugar Hill Gang.
