Concerned Black Clergy of Metropolitan Atlanta Honors Women At Annual Luncheon October 24 Noon
Concerned Black Clergy of Metro Atlanta Salute to Black Mothers Luncheon Will be held at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway Hotel
Join Concerned Black Clergy of Metropolitan Atlanta for the Annual Salute to Black Mothers βWind Beneath Our Wingsβ Saturday, October 24 at the Atlanta Marriott Gateway Hotel, 2020 Convention Center Concourse, Atlanta 30337 at noon. Honorees include: Business Award, Lisa Nicole Cloud, Womenβs Empowerment Network (WEN); Community Empowerment Award, Christy Sims, Christy Sims Foundation; Corporate Award, Pam Cross, Wells Fargo; Distinguished Merit Award, Rev. Betty Holland, Holland Institution; Political Award, Pota Coston, First African American Elected to the Fayette County Commission; Presidentβs Award, Patricia Russell McCloud, Russell McCloud & Associates and Religion Award, Rev. Wendy Smith Martin, Greater Victory Christian Center.
Commissioner Pota Coston passed away from breast cancer. Her award will be presented by Georgia Legislative Black Caucus Chairman Rep. Dee Dawkins Haigler and accepted by her son Bernie Coston and members of Delta Sigma Theta East Point College Park Chapter.
