Cosmic Rock Band Brings 'Spirit Dance' to Historic West End

Dance and music enthusiasts of all ages had a chance to move to live music this past Saturday at the 2011 Spirit Dance Summer Festival in the Historic West End.

The festival, at the Omenala African Griot Museum, 337 Dargan Place, included the music of the cosmic rock and soul band, Black Rose.

The Atlanta-based Black Rose had participants rising up from their chairs and moving to their innovative soul, rock, punk, funk sound.
