"Drop Dead Diva" Series Brings Hollywood to Cascade
Lifetime's series shooting dream sequence through Tuesday at site of former Southwest Community Hospital on Fairburn Road.
Cascade Patch played paparazzi Friday on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" temporary set—at the former Southwest Community Hospital, 501 Fairburn Rd.
Production crew members were friendly but mum Friday, but rumor has it that show star Margaret Cho and guests Wendy Williams, Paula Abdul and LeAnn Rimes all may be on the set, Saturday through Tuesday, to film scenes for the show's third season.
According to IMDb, Drop Dead Diva is about "a vapid aspiring model killed in a car crash gets brought back to life as an intelligent, overweight lawyer, hoping to find the meaning of inner beauty."
