This class is designed for new non-profit organizations or community groups with very little experience in grant seeking. Participants will learn the characteristics of effective non-profits and assess whether theirs is ready for foundation fundraising.
The class will address such questions as:
- What groundwork do we have to have in place before approaching foundations for funding?
- What are the steps to obtaining incorporation and nonprofit status and where can we get some help to do so?
- What are the characteristics of successful nonprofits?
This free session will provide participants with a step-by-step checklist approach to help determine readiness for foundation fundraising.
