One-Week Sessions for Intermediate Middle School & Advanced High School Students:

For middle school students with at least one year of experience who want to improve their skills, there is a one-week session June 13th -17th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Cost is $170.00.

For advanced high school students who want to refine their musical skills and knowledge and prepare for auditions, there is a separate one-week session from June 20th –24th from 8:00 am to 2:00 p.m. Cost is $170.00.

“Since band and orchestra programs were cut in many area elementary schools, we’ve expanded the 2011 Camp Allegro sessions to prepare beginner students for middle school.  The two-week session will give beginner band and orchestra students key fundamentals which will be equivalent to six weeks of lessons during school,” explains Camp Director Leon Daughrity.

“Music skills, like reading and math, can fall off over the summer if students don’t practice. Camp Allegro will give intermediate and high school students the chance to expand and refine their musical skills and gain playing experience in a combined band and orchestra setting,” Daughrity adds.

Visit www.campallegro.net or call Camp Director Leon Daughrity 404-434-4440 for registration details. Camp Allegro students and fans can also find Camp Allegro on Facebook and YouTube. Camp Allegro is approved by the Fulton County Schools Music Department.  The camp is sponsored, in part, by Jackson’s Music Stores
