The Cascade 5K Run is a Neighborhood Planning Unit-Q (NPU-Q) run/walk designed to encourage the community to become more involved with NPU-Q through the building of unity and pride in the Midwest Cascade neighborhood.
The free event is limited to 100 participants of all ages.
The Cascade 5K Run is being largely supported by funds received from the NPU Grant Program. NPU Q received $3500.00 from the $100,000 allocated in the 2012 Office of Planning budget for activities in support of neighborhood awareness, neighborhood beautification, and leadership and capacity building.
