The City of Atlanta and Southface are hosting an Energy Efficiency Expo to educate homeowners on how they can receive up to $3,500 in rebates towards weatherization improvements. City officials and contractors from SHINE – Sustainable Home Initiative in the New Economy - will be on site to demonstrate qualifying improvements.
Open to City of Atlanta homeowners, speakers will include officials and contractors from the City of Atlanta SHINE program, Georgia Power, AGL Resources and Southface. SHINE is a federal-grant funded program allowing the city to award up to $1 million in qualifying energy efficiency improvements to homeowners over the next 18 months.
