The 14th Annual Duke Pearson Cultural Link  Summer Jazz Camp

This is a great, intimate camp for students who want to spend a week immersed in the music, history and culture of the jazz world.  Not only will you learn about the music of Duke Ellington and Duke Pearson, you will hear first-hand stories from jazz master clinicians who knew the late, great jazz masters!!  You'll also see rare videos and documents/photos.

If you love playing jazz or are learning to play jazz, then you're invited to bring your "axe" to this week-long jam session also known as the Duke Pearson Summer Jazz Camp.

Offering middle and high school and college students and individual musicians a variety of approaches to performing jazz, incorporating many African American expressions including old gospel, spirituals, ragtime, blues, etc.
