Fall Festival - Ballethnic Dance Company

Fall Festival Tops Off Ballethnic's "Cultural Cul De Sac Series"   Ballethnic Dance Company will wrap up its spring/summer series of "Cheney Street Cultural Cul de Sacs" with a block party-style Fall Festival on Saturday, October 13, from 12 noon to 6 p.m., on the Ballethnic Academy campus, 2587 Cheney Street in East Point.   Ballethnic's professional dancers, its students and other local artists will perform  at the Festival -- just like at the Cultural Cul de Sac events.  The Festival's expanded block party venue will offer more vendors, music, children's play activities and home-made treats to southwest Atlanta, East Point, College Park and other south Fulton residents.   A “Dad’s Cook-Off” will feature the dance students' fathers stirring up their favorite recipes.   The family-friendly Fall Festival is free and open to the public; but the food items will be sold at nominal cost, and donations will be encouraged.   For more information, contact Ballethnic at 404/762-1416; or visit www. ballethnic.org.
