Healthy Eating for Pregnant Women & Teens

A series of general nutrition education sessions will be provided to address healthy eating during pregnancy.

Topics to be covered:

  • What is TAMS? 
  • What should I eat?
  • Have a Healthy Baby, and Special Nutrient Needs
  • If its Not One Thing
  • Food Safety
  • Fast Food Frenzy, and Breakfast and Snacks
  • Breastfeeding Your Baby, and Breastfeeding Basics

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Cookbook for attending all sessions.  This program is present by the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program through the University of Georgia/Fulton County Cooperative Extension.
