Fulton School Board Schedules September Community Meetings

Members of the Fulton County School Board have announced their monthly meeting schedule with the community for the month of September.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for this month:

Linda Schultz, District 1

• 9:30 a.m. Sept. 17, Roswell North Elementary School

Katie Reeves, District 2

• 9:30 a.m. Sept. 16, Webb Bridge Middle School

Gail Dean, District 3

• 9:30 a.m. Sept. 16, Lake Forest Elementary School

Linda Bryant, District 4

• 6 p.m. Sept. 15, Westlake High School

Linda McCain, District 5

• 9:30 a.m. Sept. 17, Barnwell Elementary School

Catherine Maddox, District 6

• 9:30 a.m. Sept. 12, Bethune Elementary School

Julia Bernath, District 7

• 9:30 a.m. Sept. 11, Woodland Elementary School

These sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns. Fulton school board members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
