Why Go? This 25,000-square foot, quarter mile-long maze takes guests on a trail of scream-inducing scenes. It’s premise is a fictional tale involving a horrific train crash and some demonic artifacts stowed in cargo.

Insider Tip: Since the walk is underground, dress in layers in case there’s a temperature drop.

Must Do: Check out the Fear 1 shop and browse a wide selection of wigs, masks, costumes, accessories, make up kits and to see in-store Halloween makeup demonstrations.

The Fine Print: Tickets are $25 and are not refundable.

Fox Theatre Ghost Tours

Atlanta, GA 30308

(404) 881-2100

Why Go? “What makes our Ghost Light Tours extra-creepy is the fact that the ghost stories are all real, and have been confirmed by Fox employees who have experienced actual encounters with our resident ghosts,” Molly Fortune, Director of Restoration for the Fox Theatre said. “It’s really a fun activity for parents and their teens. Your teen might actually think you are cool.”

Insider Tip: The tour is only available on October 29 and 30, so be sure to buy your tour tickets ahead of time. Tours begin every 20 minutes from 7-10 p.m.

Must Do: Be on the lookout for the ghost of a confederate solider from the days before the theater was built--it used to be an ammo cache. And see if you can find the spirit of a former avid theater goer who lingers in dressing rooms, stealing roses from actresses.

The Fine Print: Ghost Light Tours are not recommended for children under 10 and no children under the age of 6 are permitted. The cost of general admission is $30.
