1) Family Free Day @ the Zoo
When/Where: Atlanta Zoo, 800 Cherokee Ave., Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.
The Event: Residents of Atlanta and of Fulton County come out to the Atlanta Zoo for Family Days and enjoy the lions, tigers, panda bears and all animals big and small.

If you live inside the City of Atlanta or Fulton County, or you work for one of these governments thing bring your family to the zoo for free. If you are an employee then you need to bring a work ID from either the City of Atlanta or Fulton County governments. 2) Jazz @ the High
Where/When: High Museum of Art, 1280 Peachtree Street; Friday, 5 pm - 10 pm.
The Event: Every third Friday of the month is Friday Jazz @ the High Museum of Art. This time you are in for a treat as the jazzy sounds of Audrey Shakir will mesmerize your eardrums.
This Cleveland born artist was born into a musical family who honed her musical talents as she played for Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and others in the mid 70’s. Singing wise, a couple of her influences were Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn.
The evening includes not just music but full access to the gallery which includes the exhibit Radcliffe Bailey: Memory As Medicine. This way you can see what the entire museum has to offer and the specialexhibit by Atlanta’s own Radcliffe Bailey.

3) Traffic Jam Fridays @ the Lounge
Where/when: J.R. Crickets Lounge, 2348 Cascade Road; Friday 9pm - 3am.
The Event: The Cricket Lounge presents Traffic Jam Fridays. After work this Friday, come by the lounge and enjoy a great after work experience and atmosphere.
Jam to the mixing styles and beats of friend and local Dj, DJ Hustle Man. So get out of the traffic, bring you’re your fun spirit and engaging attitude and let the lounge present you with their drink and food specials while getting lost in the eclectic atmosphere of Southwest Atlanta’s premiere lounge spot. 4) Sexy in the Burbs:
Where/When: WineStyles Cascade, 3752 Cascade Rd., Suite #140. Saturday,4 p.m.
The event: With the weekend approaching, your Cascade area WineStyles wants you to enjoy an after work experience you will never forget… Sexy in the Burbs.
This Friday, let WineStyles lift your spirits with some spirits as you sip on a melody of wines. They will have specialty wines and house pours. When you walk in and mix with other professionals and the like, try out one of their red blends, such as Los Primos (13.99), from Argentina or Ménage à Trois from California (14.99).
Since its summertime, they have a variety of white wines like Chasing Venus (17.99), a Sauvignon Blanc and Castle Rock (12.99), a chardonnay. Like WineStyles great tastings that are on Thursdays and Saturdays, they have a variety of wines to choose from but you can also select an appetizer from Landon’s Bar and Restaurant menu.
