UPDATE: High School Students Arrested for Weapons Charges

Three juvenile students are in custody, police say.

UPDATE (8:20 p.m.): The Atlanta Police Department has released additional information about their investigation into allegations that a student brought a weapon to Frederick Douglass High School on Wednesday.

They eventually tracked down three juvenile students, but none of them had the gun on them at the time.

Officers soon discovered the weapon hidden on school property, and determined that each of the three students had possessed the gun during the school day. All three were arrested and taken to the Fulton County Youth Detention Center.
