Hillside Truth Center Feeds Families for Thanksgiving

Families in need don't have to be left out of this holiday thanks to members of Hillside International Truth Center and partners.

Hillside International Truth Center, Inc, - Bishop Dr. Barbara L. King, Founder Minister - will give more than 100 Thanksgiving baskets to families and individuals to help them have a happy Thanksgiving. The gifts are made possible by the generosity of Hillside members and friends through its Community Outreach Ministry. This year, Hillside has also partnered with PeachDish who will donate "farm-to-table" Thanksgiving feasts.

PeachDish is a national meal kit service based in Atlanta. It exists to enrich and nourish
people's lives through good food experiences. Its recipes are a reflection of the foods
grown in and around Georgia, and the people and cultures who call this area home.

Also, as a part of their regular business: between now and Sunday, November 19th, PeachDish customers can order a complete meal, with all the holiday favorites to prepare at home. You can take the hassle out of preparing for the holiday by having everything you need delivered to your door. Whether you’re feeding a family of 4 or a crowd of 48, PeachDish has you covered with recipes from award-winning Southern chefs.

PeachDish Culinary Director, Seth Freedman, says: “We want your meal to be as stress-free and
delicious as it can be. Several of our team members, including me, will be available to
you the days before — and even on — Thanksgiving, should you need our assistance.”
The meals included in the Thanksgiving bundles are supplied by local and sustainable
farmers and artisans. Each order will come with a step-by-step recipe booklet that
includes day-of and day-before hints from Chef Seth and the list of growers and
producers who contributed ingredients.

This is the third year PeachDish has offered Thanksgiving meal kits to customers, and
the first year it will donate kits to families in need. 50 kits will be given to local Atlanta
charities The Giving Kitchen and Hillside International Truth Center.

“We have long been a proud supporter of local, sustainable farms with our meal kits, including our
holiday kits. Donating kits to ensure that more people can have a healthy, happy holiday
is a new initiative, of which we are equally proud. It is our great privilege to be a part of,
and give back to, the wonderful food community in our home town,” says PeachDish
President Judith Winfrey.
