Home Invasion Near Mayor Kasim Reed's Cascade Residence
Two people were pistol whipped during the attack, which happened early Wednesday morning.

ATLANTA, GA -- A home invasion near Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed's Cascade residence left two people injured.
The incident happened early Wednesday morning on a Guilford Forest Drive home when a group of men broke into the home, stole a car and struck two of the residents - -a man and a woman -- with their guns.

The incident happened in the same subdivision where Reed lives, reports Channel 2.
Police are looking for the stolen car. The stolen car is reported to be a red 2014 Buick Enclave. Also taken were the victims' credit cards and check book.

The woman was hit in the back of the head and torso, while the man was also hit in the head, reports Fox 5. Both were treated at the scene and released.
