Barbara L. King on Thursday, December 24th at 7pm for a Christmas
Eve Candle Lighting service at Hillside International Truth
Center. Come prepared to light a candle symbolizing the light
within you. Learn what that light is and be blessed continuously.
“We Are Family” at Hillside’s Kwanzaa celebration on Sunday,
December 28 following the 9:30 am service, presented by the
Barbara King School of Ministry.
And, on Thursday, December 31st, from 10:00 pm til midnight, the
Hillside New Year’s Eve service features “The Burning Bowl” and
“Letters to God” - tools you can use to cleanse your
consciousness of old, worn out beliefs so you can focus on your
good desires.
Write on a sheet of paper the things you do not want to bring
into the new year. Toss it into the flames of the “burning bowl.”
Prepare your “Letter to God” in advance by listing your desires.
Include what you will commit to do to stay on purpose with your
goals. Place it in a self-addressed, stamped envelope and bring
it into the service on New Year’s Eve where it will be collected
during the service.
Bishop Dr. Barbara L. King will deliver a
powerful lesson to usher in the new year.
