Man Found Dead on Martin Luther King Dr. in Adamsville
1 suspect may already be in custody

A male body was found around 4 a.m. by a passerby on Martin Luther King Drive,Β who told APD dispatch that he possibly had a gunshot wound to the head.
The body was found unresponsive, by responding officers,Β at/near the Chevron Station close toΒ the cross street of Adamsville Drive. Β Police shut down Martin Luther King Drive as they investigated the murder.
According to the APD, "on today's date, approximately 4:20 am, Zone One units responded to a person shot call at 3660 Martin Luther King Junior Drive Southwest Atlanta, Georgia. Upon their arrival, a black male was found lying [on his back] in the roadway unresponsive. Grady Hospital Ambulance 364 responded and transported the victim to Grady Hospital, where tending physician, Doctor Chisletta pronounced the victim dead, at 5:05 am. The decedent had no identification on his person. The investigation is ongoingβ¦β¦"
